7475 aluminum plates have controlled toughness with app +40%  greater values compared to 7075 alloy with similar tempers. This alloy’s corrosion resistance and fatigue performance are also equal to, or better than, many of the other high strength aerospace alloys. 7475 is utilized in Aerospace applications were mix of high strength,  superior fracture toughness and resistance to fatigue required.
