3003 is the most widely used of all aluminum alloys. It mainly contains pure aluminum with the addition of manganese. The 3003 alloy has increased strength values, approximately + 20% vs the 1100 grade (pure aluminum). The 3003 alloy has leading corrosion resistance characteristics. In addition, it has leading workability values. 3003 can be deep drawn, spun, welded or brazed.
